The area immediately around St Pancras and Euston stations is dominated by transport infrastructure, the British Library, and the Francis Crick Institute. Residential pockets exist in the streets between Euston Road and the canal, with a mix of social housing and newer developments. The British Library piazza has become a social space in its own right. It's incredibly well connected but not a place with much neighbourhood character. The Somers Town community centre and local estates give it some grounding.
