CR3 6
The Valley is the heart of Caterham, where the station, shops, and most of the daily life happens. Croydon Road has a decent run of independents, cafes, a Morrisons, and the usual high street chains. The station does Southern services to London Bridge and East Croydon. Housing is dense by Caterham standards, with Victorian and Edwardian terraces, some purpose-built flats, and conversions. It floods occasionally where the Bourne runs through. This is where younger buyers and first-time families tend to start before working their way up the hill.
