The northern part of Chertsey running down to the Thames, including the area around Chertsey Bridge and the meads. There is a mix of older housing and some riverside properties, with Chertsey Meads providing genuinely good open space and river access for walks. It floods. The meads are a floodplain and the streets nearest the river have had repeated problems. If you can live with that risk, the setting is pleasant and you are close to the town centre. The Bridge Road area has a scattering of pubs and the feel is quiet residential rather than anything fancy.
