The area around it is a mix of 1930s semis, some Victorian terraces closer to the old Theobalds Palace site, and newer build scattered around. The Brookfield Centre and Tesco Extra are nearby, which handles most shopping needs. It feels a bit more built-up and suburban than the areas further north. Theobalds Lane has some older houses with character but the A10 looms over everything.
