West Green

One of the original new-town neighbourhoods, just west of the town centre. West Green has a local shops parade and is walkable to the main shopping area. Housing is 1950s new-town stock, similar to Gossops Green and Southgate. It is one of the more diverse parts of Crawley with a strong South Asian community and a good selection of restaurants and food shops along the Brighton Road. The area has more energy and street life than the quieter outer neighbourhoods.
