Crowborough Central

The town centre and the streets immediately around it, including the high street running along the ridge. Waitrose anchors one end, with a scattering of local shops, a Costa, the library, and the Goldsmiths recreation ground. Housing is a real mix, from Victorian and Edwardian terraces to 1960s bungalows and some newer flats. It is walkable to the shops and the station, which counts for something in a town where most people drive everywhere. The Beacon Academy is the main secondary and sits just south of the centre.
