Norbury

Norbury sits on the London Road between Streatham and Thornton Heath. It feels more like south London than Croydon. The station is on the Thameslink route, which gives you direct trains to the City and north. London Road itself is a proper high street with a diverse mix of shops, restaurants, and cafes. Housing is largely Edwardian and Victorian terraces, many of them generous in size. It's been quietly attracting families priced out of Streatham and Balham. The Norbury Park end has some impressive houses backing onto green space.
