Old Coulsdon

Old Coulsdon sits on higher ground above Coulsdon proper. It's quieter and more spread out, with views over the Downs. Housing is mostly interwar and postwar, with larger plots than you'd find in central Croydon. There's a small parade of shops but you'll do most of your errands in Coulsdon. The countryside walks are the main attraction. It's the sort of place where people have lived for decades and don't really want to leave.
