SE25 5
Upper Norwood is essentially the Croydon face of Crystal Palace, sitting at the top of the hill near the transmitter. The views are excellent. Housing is a mix of large Victorian villas and some more modest terraces. It shares the Crystal Palace triangle's restaurants and shops. Gipsy Hill and Crystal Palace stations provide rail links. There's an arty, slightly bohemian feel that comes from the Crystal Palace community spilling over the borough boundary. Church Road has some useful local shops.
