Dartford Heath is the area around the large open common south of the town centre. The heath itself is a genuinely good green space with scrubland, woods, and a golf course. Housing around the edges tends to be larger, with some detached 1930s properties and bigger plots. It is one of the more desirable parts of Dartford and feels surprisingly rural for somewhere so close to the M25. The trade-off is that you are a fair walk from the station and shops.
