North of the centre, running up toward the Houghton Regis boundary. This includes some of the larger council-built estates from the 1960s and 70s, though much of it is now privately owned. Northfields and the area around Brewers Hill Road are here. There is a slightly more mixed feel compared to the south side of town. Prices are among the lowest in Dunstable, which makes it popular with first-time buyers. Practical rather than pretty.
