Avery Hill

Avery Hill is quiet suburban Greenwich. The former University of Greenwich campus with its Winter Garden is the local landmark. Housing is mostly 1930s semis and some council stock. New Eltham and Falconwood stations are both a walk away, neither one is particularly convenient. Avery Hill Park is pleasant and underused. It's the kind of area families buy into because they can get a house with a garden for less than Eltham or Blackheath.
