Shooters Hill is the highest point in south-east London, and the houses near the top have views across the city. Severndroog Castle, a Gothic tower built in 1784, sits in Castle Wood and is now open to visitors. The area is heavily wooded, with Oxleas Wood, Jack Wood, and Castle Wood forming a connected green corridor that's part of the ancient woodland that once covered this whole ridge. Housing is mixed: some big detached houses on the hill itself, 1930s semis on the lower slopes, and estates towards the Woolwich end. There's no station, which keeps prices lower than you'd expect for the green space and the views. Buses and driving are how people get around.
