Hornsey sits between Crouch End and Muswell Hill, mostly residential with Victorian and Edwardian terraces. Hornsey station on the overground gives you a direct line into Moorgate, which is handy for the City. The High Street has a few independents but it's not a destination. Hornsey Church Tower and the surrounding streets have a quiet, slightly forgotten character that some people love. It's more affordable than Crouch End next door and families use it as a way into the same school catchments without paying the premium.
