Tottenham Hale is being rebuilt. The area around the station has seen massive new-build development, with towers, a new retail park, and improved public spaces. The Victoria line gives you direct access to the West End and King's Cross in about fifteen minutes. The old industrial areas along the River Lea are being converted to mixed-use. It feels very different from the rest of Tottenham, more like Stratford or Walthamstow's newer developments. Whether the new builds will create a genuine neighbourhood or just another collection of commuter flats remains to be seen.
