Greenhill is essentially Harrow town centre. St Ann's and St George's shopping centres, the civic centre, and the main bus interchange are all here. The Metropolitan line from Harrow-on-the-Hill station is the big selling point, fast into Baker Street and the City. The town centre itself is functional rather than attractive, with a lot of chain shops and some empty units. Housing nearby is a mix of mansion flats, Victorian terraces, and newer blocks. It is the commercial heart of the borough, with all the convenience and noise that implies.
