Kenton is one of the most South Asian areas in London, and the eastern side is the heart of that community. Kenton Road has an excellent selection of Indian and Sri Lankan restaurants, sweet shops, and grocery stores. The Bajoura line (Kenton station, Overground) and the Jubilee line at Kingsbury are the transport options. Housing is 1930s Metroland semis, many of which have been extended and modified. Diwali is a big event locally. If you want authentic South Asian food and a strong community feel, this is one of the best places in London for it.
