Pinner

Pinner is the jewel of the borough. The High Street is genuinely attractive, with half-timbered buildings, independent shops, a proper pub, and the medieval church of St John the Baptist. The annual Pinner Fair dates back to 1336. Housing around the village centre is a mix of period cottages and larger Edwardian and Victorian houses, with standard 1930s stock further out. The Metropolitan line gets you into Baker Street quickly. Pinner Memorial Park is a well-loved green space. It has the feel of a Home Counties market town that happens to be in Zone 5, and property prices reflect it.
