Booker is a large council estate on the hill south of the town centre, built mostly in the 1950s and 60s. Cressex is the business park and industrial estate side. Booker has a community feel among long-term residents but it's one of the more deprived parts of Wycombe. There's a local parade of shops and a community centre. The housing is mostly semis and terraces in the estate style. It's affordable for the area, which is its main draw.
