Harefield Village

A genuine village in northwest London, surrounded by green belt land and canals. Harefield has a church, a pub, a primary school, and a village feel that's hard to find this close to the capital. The Grand Union Canal passes through, and the surrounding countryside is genuinely rural. Housing is a mix of period cottages and some larger detached properties. The hospital is a major employer and landmark. It's not cheap, and you need a car for everything, but people who live here are committed to the village life.
