Ickenham & South Harefield

Ickenham is a suburb with a surprising amount of village character. The high street has a parade of shops, a library, and a tube station on both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines. Housing is mainly 1930s semis with decent gardens, and prices are high for this part of London. Swakeleys Drive has some of the most expensive properties. Ickenham feels quieter and greener than neighbouring Ruislip, though the two bleed into each other. South Harefield is the part of Harefield closest to Ickenham, with rural lanes and larger properties.
