Graveley St Ippolyts & Wymondley

These are the villages to the south and east of Hitchin, strung along narrow lanes between the town and Stevenage. St Ippolyts has a proper village centre with a pub and church. Great Wymondley and Little Wymondley are small and quiet. Graveley is tiny, right on the edge of Stevenage. The housing is a mix of period cottages and some infill. People here are choosing countryside over convenience, and you will need a car for everything except the occasional walk to a village pub.
