Hitchin Walsworth

Walsworth is the northern end of Hitchin, running up toward Letchworth. It has its own small row of shops along Walsworth Road and a community feel that is slightly separate from the town centre. Housing is a mix of Victorian terraces, interwar semis, and some more recent builds. It is a bit more affordable than central Hitchin, which attracts younger families and first-time buyers. Walsworth Common is a small but well-used green space.
