Hitchin Highbury

Highbury is the area directly around and south of the town centre, including some of Hitchin's best streets. The housing around Highbury Road and the roads leading toward the station is largely Victorian and Edwardian, with some genuinely handsome houses. You are walking distance to everything that makes Hitchin work: the market square, the independent shops, the pubs, and the station. This is where Hitchin feels most like itself, and it is priced accordingly.
