Hitchin Priory

The Priory area takes its name from the old priory grounds, now Priory Park, which is the main green space in the centre of Hitchin. The park itself is lovely, with a river, a pond, and enough space for kids to run around. Housing nearby ranges from period terraces to some newer development. Being close to both the park and the town centre makes this one of the more sought-after parts of Hitchin for families. The Priory School, the secondary, is also here.
