Hanworth has a small village centre with a few shops around the green. The old village feel is still there, though it's been swallowed by suburban development. Housing is mainly interwar and post-war estates. It's one of the more affordable parts of the borough. The A316 gives quick road access to the M3 and London. Aircraft noise is a constant, given the proximity to Heathrow.
