Earl's Court has been in transition for years, with the exhibition centre demolished and the site being redeveloped. The area around the station has a mix of mansion blocks, terraced houses, and some cheaper options that are rare in this borough. The Old Brompton Road has restaurants and shops. Earl's Court station gives access to the District and Piccadilly lines. It's more affordable than South Kensington or Chelsea, which means you get more for your money but in a less polished setting.
