New Malden Village

New Malden has the largest Korean community in Europe, which gives it a distinctive character. The high street has Korean restaurants, supermarkets, and businesses alongside the usual British shops. New Malden station gets you to Waterloo in about 25 minutes. Housing is mainly 1930s semis with decent gardens. It's more affordable than Surbiton or Kingston, and the schools are good. The Korean presence means you'll find things here that you won't find anywhere else in south London.
