Leatherhead South

South of the town centre, Leatherhead becomes quieter and greener as it stretches towards the Downs. The streets around Givons Grove and towards Mickleham are leafier and more expensive. You are closer to Box Hill and the Mole Valley nature reserves from this side, which makes it popular with walkers and cyclists. Housing includes some larger detached properties set back from the road. It is more residential and less connected to daily amenities than the north side, so a car helps.
