Headley is a scattered village on the heathland east of Bordon. There is a pub, a village hall, a church, and a small school, but no real shop to speak of. The housing is a mix of older cottages and some larger properties along the lanes, with a few small cul-de-sac developments. Headley Down, the more built-up part to the south, has a slightly different character with more 1950s and 60s housing. You need a car for everything. The surrounding heathland is good for walking and the area is genuinely peaceful, but it is isolated by any reasonable measure.
