Three scattered Hampshire villages connected by narrow lanes and not much else. Selborne is the famous one, Gilbert White's village, with the Zig-Zag path up the hanger and a pub on the green. Bentley sits closer to Farnham and has its own station on the Alton line, which is the commuter route. Binsted is tiny, barely a hamlet. The housing is a mix of period cottages, farmhouses, and some newer infill, all at prices that reflect how rural it is. You need a car for everything. Schools are village primaries. It is genuinely beautiful countryside but daily life is quiet to the point of isolation if that's not your thing.
