Cox Green is a 1960s and 70s suburban development on the western edge of Maidenhead. Detached and semi-detached houses on curving cul-de-sac streets, most with garages and gardens. It has its own local shops, a school, and a community feel that is slightly separate from the main town. The green itself is a decent open space. It is popular with families because the houses are bigger than what you get closer to the centre, and Cox Green School is the local secondary. Not exciting, but comfortable and practical.
