Hunsdon

Hunsdon is a small village off the B180 between Ware and Harlow. There is a pub (the Fox and Hounds), a village hall, and a primary school, and that is more or less it for facilities. The housing is mostly older cottages and some larger detached houses along the lanes, with a few newer infill developments. The ruins of Hunsdon House, once a Tudor royal palace, sit on private land nearby. It is quiet and feels genuinely rural despite being only a few miles from Harlow. Families use Ware or Harlow for shopping and secondary schools.
