Olympic Park East

The eastern side of the Olympic Park, towards the Lee Valley Velopark and the waterways bordering Hackney Wick. Newer residential development is going in around Sweetwater and Eastwick, still largely under construction. It has a different feel from the west side because it borders the canal paths and marshes rather than a shopping centre. The parkland is genuinely good and well maintained. It is quieter and greener than you would expect for Zone 2 Newham. Access is via Hackney Wick Overground or a walk through the park to Stratford.
