Plashet

Plashet is the area between East Ham and Upton Park, centred on Plashet Park and Plashet Grove. It is a quiet residential area by Newham standards. The park is well used by local families. Victorian terraces on a grid, the usual Newham pattern. Upton Park station is the nearest tube. Plashet is the kind of place where people stay because it is calm and they know their neighbours. It does not draw outsiders because there is nothing to draw them, which is part of its appeal to residents.
