The northern ward covers newer housing estates on the edge of Newport Pagnell plus the village of Hanslope a few miles further north. Hanslope itself is a proper village with a church, a pub, and not much else, sitting up on a hill with views over open countryside. The Newport Pagnell end has more recent development, mostly family houses built from the 1980s onwards. There is no rail station anywhere nearby so you are driving everywhere. It is quiet and rural once you get past the town boundary, which is the appeal.
