Stantonbury is pure new town. Built in the 1970s as part of the Milton Keynes expansion, with the typical MK layout of cul-de-sacs, redways, and green buffer strips. The housing is mostly three-bed semis and terraces from that era. There's a local centre with basic shops. Stantonbury Campus (the old leisure and education complex) was a focal point, though parts have been redeveloped. It's functional and affordable, the kind of place families settle because you get a decent amount of space for the money.
