Upper Willingdon sits higher on the slopes heading toward the Downs and has a noticeably different feel from the rest of the Polegate group. Larger houses, bigger gardens, quieter roads. The Willingdon Golf Club is up here. It reads as a comfortable, slightly aspirational residential area, the sort of place where people settle long-term. Views over Eastbourne and toward the sea from the higher roads. You are reliant on a car but Eastbourne town centre is only a few minutes' drive.
