Abbey

Abbey covers the town centre and the area immediately south of it. The Oracle, the station, and most of Reading's nightlife are in here. It's flats, converted offices, and new builds aimed at young professionals and renters who want to walk to work or the station. Not really somewhere families look at. Busy, noisy on weekend nights, but convenient if commuting is your priority. The Kennet runs through it, and the towpath is a nice escape from the concrete.
