Loxford

Loxford is the area south of Ilford town centre towards Barking, along Loxford Lane. Victorian terraces and some Edwardian houses, many now divided into flats. It is one of the more deprived parts of Redbridge and feels more like Barking than the rest of the borough. Ilford station is walkable but the immediate area has limited amenities. Loxford Park is small but provides some green space. It is affordable, which is the main draw.
