Hampton Wick sits right by the bridge to Kingston, with Bushy Park on one side and the Thames on the other. The High Street has a few useful shops and pubs. Hampton Wick station gives you direct trains to Waterloo in about 35 minutes. The housing is a mix of Victorian cottages, some conversions, and newer flats. It benefits from Kingston's shops being a short walk across the bridge. South Teddington blends into this naturally, with quiet residential streets running up towards Teddington proper. It's a well-connected spot that often gets overlooked in favour of its neighbours.
