Kew is defined by the Gardens, obviously, but the residential streets are lovely in their own right. The Green is a proper focal point with a pub, a few cafes, and a cricket pitch. Kew Gardens station has both the District line and the Overground, making it one of the better-connected spots in the borough. Housing ranges from large Victorian villas near the Green to more modest Edwardian terraces further out. It's expensive and quiet. The National Archives bring some weekday footfall. Kew Bridge end is a bit more mixed, with some new-build flats. Families and professionals dominate.
