Roche North and Rural

This covers the northern half of Rochford town and the farmland stretching out towards the Crouch estuary. The town end has standard postwar housing and is walkable to Rochford's market square and station. Further out it becomes genuinely rural, with scattered houses along lanes and not much else. Stambridge and the hamlets north of town are quiet in a way that suits people who want space and don't mind driving everywhere. Families settle here for the calm and the relatively affordable prices compared to Rayleigh next door.
