This covers the stretch of downland within Wealden district, likely taking in parishes along the South Downs ridge. Rolling chalk hills, long views, and very few people. Settlements are tiny and spread out. The landscape is beautiful but this is not a convenient place to live by any normal measure. Secondary schools, supermarkets, and stations all require a drive into Polegate, Lewes, or Eastbourne.
