Borough

Borough Market is the headline, but the residential streets around here are a proper mix. Georgian terraces, council estates like the Tabard Gardens estate, and modern blocks all within a few minutes of each other. Borough station gives you the Northern line, and London Bridge is right there too. It is central in a way that few south London neighbourhoods are. The pubs are good, the food options are excellent, but you pay for it. Families do live here but it suits couples and professionals more.
