Thatcham Colthrop & Crookham

South and east of the town centre, stretching towards Crookham Common and the Colthrop industrial area. Crookham has more of a village edge to it, with some older properties and a slightly more rural feel once you get past the main estates. Colthrop itself is largely commercial and warehouse units. The Nature Discovery Centre and the reed beds are on this side of town, which is genuinely a nice spot. Housing is mostly 1980s-90s family homes on estate roads. Kennet School, the main secondary, is in this direction.
