Tonbridge Town Centre

The heart of Tonbridge. The high street has a decent range of independents alongside the usual chains, and the weekly market adds something. The castle grounds and the Medway riverside walk give the centre more character than most commuter towns. Tonbridge station is right here with fast services to London. Housing close to the centre is mainly Victorian terraces and some flats above shops. It gets busy with traffic, especially at the one-way system, which is a perennial Tonbridge frustration.
