Higham Wood

Higham Wood is on the eastern edge of Tonbridge, climbing the hill above the Medway valley. The housing is a mix of 1960s and 70s estates with some newer builds. It is set back from the town centre and you need to walk downhill to reach the station or shops, which makes it feel more suburban. Views are decent from higher ground. It is quieter and more self-contained than the areas closer to the centre.
