Callowland

Callowland is the residential area north of the town centre, between Harebreaks and North Watford. It's a mix of interwar terraces and some ex-council stock. Harebreaks Wood is tucked in here, a surprisingly nice pocket of ancient woodland. Most people walk into the town centre for shopping. It's unpretentious and affordable by Watford standards, popular with first-time buyers and young families who want to be near the centre without the price tag of Nascot or Cassiobury.
