Weald Central

The central stretch of the Weald countryside south of Ashford. Small settlements like Smarden and Bethersden sit among farmland and woodland. Some of these hamlets have a pub and a church but not much else. Pretty landscape, especially in spring and autumn, but you are reliant on a car for everything. Housing tends to be older cottages and period properties with some newer infill.
